BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" Holds On To No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2020, November Week 4
BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” tops our chart for the seventh week in a row! The song is close to reaching the record of eight weeks at No. 1 set by their song “How You Like That” earlier this year. Congratulations again to BLACKPINK!
TWICE’s “I CAN’T STOP ME” moves up one spot to No. 2 this week. Also up one spot to No. 3 is MAMAMOO’s “Dingga.”
Three songs newly debuted in the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 4 is BTS’s “Life Goes On,” the title track from their latest album “BE.” It is an alternative hip hop song featuring an emotional acoustic guitar sound, and the lyrics provide a comforting message that “life goes on” even through difficult circumstances.
Entering the chart at No. 8 is AKMU’s “HAPPENING.” It is a folk style rock song about the emotional exhaustion after a breakup.
Debuting at No. 10 is Lee Seung Gi’s “The Ordinary Man.” Returning as a singer for the first time in five years, Lee Seung Gi will release his seventh studio album in December. “The Ordinary Man” is a pre-released single written by Yoon Jong Shin expressing the unbearable emotions of a breakup.
