Watch: Im Siwan And Shin Se Kyung Get Scolded By Staff For Looking Too Much Like A Couple In Adorable Behind-The-Scenes Video For "Run On"

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Run On” has shared a fun glimpse behind the scenes of its poster shoot!

“Run On” is a romance drama about people trying to connect with each other in their own languages after having lived in different worlds and at different paces. Im Siwan will star as Ki Sun Kyum, a former track and field athlete who retires after a life-changing event and becomes a sports agent, while Shin Se Kyung will star as Oh Mi Joo, an adventurous foreign film translator.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung will be playing the role of sports agency CEO Seo Dan Ah, a chaebol heiress who was pushed down the order of successors for being female, while Kang Tae Oh will play Lee Young Hwa, a thoughtful and kind-hearted art student.

In the newly released footage from the drama’s poster shoot, the four stars pose for their individual posters before pairing up for their couple shots. At first, Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung are adorably unable to stop giggling nervously as they strike a variety of romantic poses together. At one point, Im Siwan even cutely imitates the awkward way Shin Se Kyung removes her arm from him after an affectionate pose.

However, later on in the shoot, the couple ends up looking so naturally affectionate and lovey-dovey with one another that the staff has to cut in and inform them, “This is before you guys start dating.” After a few more shots, a staff member stops them again to point out that they still look like they’re already dating, and Im Siwan cheekily responds, “But we are already dating.”

Im Siwan then starts brushing the hair out of Shin Se Kyung’s face before stopping himself and turning to the staff to check whether he’s gone too far with the affection. The staff enthusiastically encourages him to continue, but Im Siwan worries, “Isn’t this too cringeworthy?” and Shin Se Kyung jokingly complains to the staff, “I thought you said we weren’t dating!”

Afterwards, as they check out the photos from their own shoot, Im Siwan declares approvingly, “I like this one. I really like this photo. This gets my seal of approval!”

Sooyoung and Kang Tae Oh are up next, and they similarly can’t stop laughing awkwardly as they start posing for their own couple shots. During one pose in which the two get especially close, the staff tells Kang Tae Oh to loosen up, joking, “Right now, your face looks like you’re undergoing a punishment.”

“Run On” will premiere on December 16 at 9 p.m. KST. Check out the new behind-the-scenes video below!
