"Awaken" Kicks Off To Solid Viewership Ratings As "The Penthouse" Blows Past Its Personal Best Again
tvN’s “Awaken” has got off to a solid start in viewership ratings!
According to Nielsen Korea, the November 30 premiere episode recorded average nationwide ratings of 4.7 percent, with a peak of 6.4 percent. In tvN’s target demographic of 20-to-49-year-olds, it recorded average ratings of 2.5 percent and a peak of 3.3 percent.
“Awaken’s” premiere ratings are a slight increase from both the premiere ratings and the finale ratings of its predecessor in this time slot, “Birthcare Center,” which started and ended around 4.2 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “The Penthouse” continues to dominate the ratings in this time slot. After setting a new personal best last episode with 16.0 percent, the November 30 episode rose even higher with average nationwide ratings of 13.2 and 16.9 percent.
On MBC, “Kairos’ recorded ratings of 3.4 and 3.2 percent, an increase from both episodes that aired last week.
