Cha Eun Woo Impresses With His Formidable Jiu-Jitsu Skills In "True Beauty"

tvN’s upcoming rom-com “True Beauty” released new stills of ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo!

Based on a hit webtoon, “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy about Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young), who zealously uses makeup to hide her bare face and combat her insecurities about her looks. After she meets Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo), a popular student who has his own emotional wounds, they share each other’s secrets and learn to heal through love.

Cha Eun Woo stars as the cold-hearted Lee Su Ho who possess everything from stunning visuals to top academic records and basketball skills. In the newly released stills, Lee Su Ho participates in a jujutsu competition. He captivates viewers with his focused gaze and perfect form as he takes down his opponent.

In addition to his sharp gaze, Lee Su Ho’s fierce expression once he has his opponent pinned down charms viewers further.

In an interview, Cha Eun Woo revealed, “I’m practicing jiu-jitsu very hard for the character of Su Ho, who likes sports in the drama. Thanks to that, I think I’ve gained a good hobby.” The new stills reflect the results of his practice, greatly exciting viewers for his upcoming role in the drama.

“True Beauty” premieres on December 9 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
