“Please Don’t Date Him” has shared new glimpses of what’s to come!

The MBC every1 drama tells the story of Seo Ji Sung (Song Ha Yoon), who learns secrets from her AI refrigerator about men who should be avoided, and Jung Gook Hee (Lee Jun Young), a firefighter who is so far removed from technology that he feels totally comfortable without a smartphone.

The romance between the two leads picked up speed in episode 5, which aired on December 8. With the pair both now realizing their feelings for each other, they find themselves smiling at just the thought of one another. At the end of the episode, Seo Ji Sung went to find Jung Gook Hee at work and asked him, “When are you off?”

The show has now shared some stills that give a hint at what happens next. The two leads stand right outside the fire station, and Seo Ji Sung’s eyes are all lit up as she gazes at Jung Gook Hee, giving a look of excitement, nervousness, and shyness as though love has just begun. Jung Gook Hee has a similar look in his eyes as he gazes back at Seo Ji Sung. In the final photo, Jung Gook Hee gives Seo Ji Sung a big wave as she heads off, wearing a smile brighter than he’s ever shown before.

The production team shared that the two leads’ romance will be increasing speed in episode 6, promising a heart-racing scene of them making a date, some childish but cute jealousy, heart-fluttering feelings that will make viewers smile, and more.

They added, “Song Ha Yoon and Lee Jun Young portrayed these stages of romance with their lovely acting and chemistry. We think that viewers will feel their hearts flutter too. Please look forward to it.”

The drama also shared photos from the next episode that picture Jung Gook Hee shirtless while in his firefighter uniform. Previously, MBC’s “The Manager” showed the set when filming for this scene was taking place, and Lee Jun Young revealed how he was working out to get a more sculpted body for the shot.

The production team shared, “Starting with episode 6 on December 15, Seo Ji Sung and Jung Gook Hee’s romance will start picking up the pace. In this process, we’ll be revealing Jung Gook Hee’s secrets bit by bit.”
