PENTAGON's Hui, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, And AB6IX's Lee Dae Hwi Revealed To Be Producing Songs For "CAP-TEEN"
PENTAGON’s Hui, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon, and AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi will be producing songs for the Top 7 battle on “CAP-TEEN.”
“CAP-TEEN” is an Mnet audition program aimed at teenagers who want to be K-pop stars. Unlike other audition shows, the contestants’ families play a big role in the audition process.
On December 16, Mnet confirmed that Hui, Soyeon, Lee Dae Hwi, along with other famous producers, would be participating in writing songs for the upcoming Top 7 competition on “CAP-TEEN.”
Hui has produced songs not only for PENTAGON but also for artists such as Wanna One, Shinhwa, Han Yo Han, JO1, and WEi. He has shown his skills at musical production and arrangement on multiple music programs.
Soyeon has participated in the writing and production of every title track that (G)I-DLE has released thus far. She is known as a detail-oriented perfectionist with a lot of creative ideas, not just for the music but also for performance concepts, which she showcased on Mnet’s “Queendom.”
Lee Dae Hwi was known to write his own music from his first appearance on “Produce 101 Season 2” and has produced music not only for AB6IX but also for IZ*ONE, Yoon Ji Sung, Park Ji Hoon, and more. He draws inspiration from daily life and reinterprets them to create emotional and expressive tracks. He has said in the past that he would have become a producer if he hadn’t become an idol.
“CAP-TEEN” airs every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. KST.
