"Run On" Premieres To Modest Ratings + "Cheat On Me If You Can" Holds On To Lead Despite Drop
JTBC has premiered a new drama in the Wednesday-Thursday time slot!
According to Nielsen Korea, the December 16 premiere of “Run On” recorded average nationwide ratings of 2.145 percent. This is slightly lower than the premiere ratings of “Private Lives,” the last JTBC drama to run in this time slot, which was 2.522 percent.
“Run On,” which stars Im Siwan, Shin Se Kyung, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and Kang Tae Oh, is about people trying to connect with each other in their own languages after having lived in different worlds at different paces.
KBS’s “Cheat on Me If You Can” held on to its lead in the time slot with average nationwide ratings of 2.7 and 4.1 percent, despite being a drop from last week‘s 4.2 and 5.2 percent.
On MBC, “The Spies Who Loved Me” recorded ratings of 1.8 and 2.0 percent, a drop from last episode’s 2.9 and 2.8 percent.
tvN’s “True Beauty” saw a rise in ratings this week with 3.813 percent, a new personal best for the drama.
