Golden Child’s agency has revealed COVID-19 test results for the other members and staff.

This is an update regarding Golden Child’s COVID-19 test results.

The other Golden Child members and staff all tested negative.

Bong Jaehyun will stay in an assigned facility according to quarantine protocol by health authorities, while the remaining members will self-quarantine for safety for the time being.

We promise to do our best in managing sanitation for COVID-19 with the health of our artists and staff as the top priority.

Golden Child member Jaehyun has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On December 17, his agency released the following statement:

Hello. This is Woollim Entertainment.

Golden Child’s Bong Jaehyun tested positive for COVID-19 on the morning of [December] 17.

Bong Jaehyun received preemptive testing on the evening of [December] 16, and he was confirmed positive this morning (December 17). Besides scheduled filming, Bong Jaehyun did not take part in any external activities. All staff who may have crossed paths with him have also taken necessary measures such as testing.

Bong Jaehyun currently shows no symptoms, and he will be quarantined separately following the guidelines by health authorities.

Following Bong Jaehyun’s confirmed diagnosis, disinfection was carried out in his dorm and Woollim Entertainment headquarters. In addition, the Golden Child members and all of our company staff received preemptive testing whether or not they came in contact with Bong Jaehyun, and they are all in self-quarantine.

We will once again share updates when test results are released for the other Golden Child members.

We ask for your understanding in causing concern, and we will do our best in following COVID-19 protocol and managing sanitation.
