Yoo Yeon Seok On Working With Lee Yeon Hee, His Favorite Memory From Their Upcoming Film, And More

Yoo Yeon Seok spoke about his great chemistry with Lee Yeon Hee on a recent radio show!

On December 17, Lee Yeon Hee was the special DJ on “Jung Eun Ji’s Music Plaza.” During the show she shared, “I’m going to make a surprise call to a friend. It’s the person you all really like. It’s Yoo Yeon Seok, who plays my partner in the film ‘New Year Blues.'”

Once he answered the call, Yoo Yeon Seok explained, “I’m scheduled to record something so I’m currently on my way. I was enjoyably listening to Lee Yeon Hee’s ‘Music Plaza’ while in the car.” He continued, “You’re doing well. It’s really great hearing such a sweet voice at lunch time. It’s very soft and sweet.”

Lee Yeon Hee later asked Yoo Yeon Seok what was most memorable part from their filming and he answered, “When we were filming in Argentina, the scene where we went to Iguazu Falls was most memorable. In addition to our filming, I took a lot of photos because it was just that spectacular. With the film premiering, I looked back on those videos and they brought back so many memories, especially because it’d be difficult to go there right now.”

A listener asked, “What kind of partner was Lee Yeon Hee?” and Yoo Yeon Seok responded, “I thought that her charms became more vast the more I saw her. At first, I thought of her as an actress with a pretty and cute character but I saw a lot of different sides to her while filming. Even when we were dancing the tango, our chemistry was great.”

Yoo Yeon Seok continued, “Since our film is releasing, I hope a lot of people show interest. Although our situation isn’t great right now, they’re doing their best to stay safe in theatres so if you have the opportunity, I hope you come watch it.”

The actor also updated viewers on what he’s been up these days. He shared, “Since it’s harder to go on vacation now than it is to cook at home, I’ve been going camping. I’ve been making some camping foods and I recently ate steamed oysters. It tasted so good in the cold weather. After I finish a project, I try to come out of it by doing the hobbies I typically enjoy and take some time so that I can refresh.”
