LOONA Members All Test Negative For COVID-19
All 11 members of LOONA have tested negative for COVID-19.
On December 18, it was reported that a “The King of Mask Singer” staff member who took part in the show’s filming shoot on December 15 had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
As LOONA members Yves and Chuu had both participated in the shoot in question, their agency Blockberry Creative announced that all of the LOONA members and their staff had chosen to undergo testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure.
On December 19, Blockberry Creative officially announced that all 11 LOONA members had tested negative for the virus.
The agency’s full statement is as follows:
Hello, this is Blockberry Creative.
Following the confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis of a “The King of Mask Singer” staff member who participated in the filming shoot attended by Yves and Chuu, all 11 members of LOONA (HeeJin, HyunJin, YeoJin, ViVi, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye) as well as the staff underwent testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure. According to their test results, all of them tested negative for COVID-19.
We’d like to thank the fans for worrying about them, and we apologize for giving the fans cause for concern.
We will continue to put priority on the health and safety of our artists, and we will respond quickly to crises by following the government’s quarantine guidelines thoroughly.
