Watch: Im Siwan And Shin Se Kyung Play Around With Props Behind-The-Scenes On "Run On"

On December 24, JTBC released a behind-the-scenes video from episodes 3 and 4 of “Run On.”

“Run On” is a drama about people trying to connect with each other in their own languages after having lived in different worlds and at different paces. Im Siwan stars as Ki Sun Kyum, a former track-and-field athlete who retires after a life-changing event and becomes a sports agent. Shin Se Kyung co-stars as Oh Mi Joo, an adventurous foreign film translator.

The first part of the video covers the scenes in which Ki Sun Kyum spends time with Oh Mi Joo at her house. Im Siwan shows a tendency to be playful in these scenes, lying down on the floor like a vampire, bantering with Shin Se Kyung over their lines, and fiddling with the props on the kitchen table.

As filming begins, Shin Se Kyung rips open a packet of vitamin gummies and is flustered when she accidentally tears the whole thing in half, while Im Siwan cracks everyone up with his “wowed” expression as he eats them. The scene, which is a product placement, quickly turns into a full-blown commercial as Im Siwan hams it up for the camera. In the next scene, the director has to yell ‘cut’ because Shin Se Kyung accidentally got rice stuck on her sweater.

The second part of the video covers Oh Mi Joo and Ki Sun Kyum’s visit to an arcade. As Shin Se Kyung gets familiar with the toy gun, Im Siwan takes a more analog approach by flinging the bullets with his hands at the target. When he does get the gun into his hands during a break from filming, Im Siwan impresses everyone with his accurate aim. The two actors then get completely absorbed in a shooting game, calling out to each other until it turns out they lost.
