"The Penthouse" Continues Lead In Viewership Ratings Despite 19+ Rating + "Royal Secret Agent" Stays Strong
SBS’s “The Penthouse” stayed strong in viewership ratings despite the most recent episode being rated 19+.
According to Nielsen Korea, the December 28 episode (episode 18) of “The Penthouse” recorded average nationwide ratings of 21.0 and 23.9 percent, close to last week’s ratings. Last week, the drama recorded 24.0 percent for a new personal best. “The Penthouse” was also recently confirmed to return with two more seasons once this current season ends after 21 episodes.
On KBS, “Royal Secret Agent” showed its promise with a solid streak of three episodes in a row in the 5 percent range. The December 28 episode recorded ratings of 5.3 and 5.2 percent, a slight decrease from last episode’s 5.5 and 5.8 percent, but an increase from its premiere ratings of 5.0 percent.
On tvN, “Awaken” saw a slight increase in ratings from last week with 4.111 percent.
