8 Super Cute Moments From Episodes 7 & 8 Of "True Beauty"

2021 hasn’t been off to the best start, but it is definitely safe to say that “True Beauty” is making up for it. Seeing the beautiful cast and their adorable interactions has made every week more than bearable. Now that the love triangle is intensifying and actors are getting more comfortable in their characters’ skin, the series has taken off and we’re definitely here for it. Here are eight moments from the most recent episodes that were much too cute.

1. Lee Su Ho getting the bully to apologize to Ju Gyeong

In last week’s episodes, Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) gets held captive by a bully from another school in an attempt to make Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeop) come rescue her. Both Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) and Seo Jun end up saving Ju Gyeong and doing a number on the bully and his friends, and as a result, Ju Gyeong suffers from a bit of trauma from the event. Hoping that Ju Gyeong can find peace again, Su Ho pesters the bully to apologize to her.

This went above and beyond the call of duty for Su Ho, but he cares so much about Ju Gyeong that he wants her to not live in fear. Su Ho is constantly thinking about doing things for Ju Gyeong and this includes spending days bothering the bully until he has a breakdown and decides to apologize to Ju Gyeong. It must have taken a lot of pestering, but Su Ho was able to do it!

2. Seo Jun asking Ju Gyeong to “roar” for him again

After Ju Gyeong teases Seo Jun about seeing him in his underwear, he becomes flustered and more aware of his feelings for Ju Gyeong. He asks her in the halls if she can roar for him again so that he can see if he gets the same feelings he had for her the first time she did it.

We all know why Seo Jun is asking her to roar again for him and it’s the cutest thing. The tough and cool Seo Jun continues to be baffled by his feelings for Ju Gyeong. To reaffirm his feelings, he asks her to roar for him to see if he gets those butterflies again. This part was adorable in that it showed a very confused, but genuine Seo Jun who not only wants to confirm that he likes Ju Gyeong but also wants to see her do it again.

3. Jung Gun Joo falls in love at first sight with Ju Gyeong

Jung Gun Joo makes a cameo appearance as a hotshot baseball player named Ryu Hyung Jin. While playing baseball, he meets Ju Gyeong for the first time and is in awe of her beauty. He runs into her again through a mutual friend and insists on getting her number. He is persistent and adamant about wanting to date Ju Gyeong.

Although this appearance was expected to be brief, it was still very cute seeing him quickly fall in love with Ju Gyeong. His intentions are clear and his ability to wear his heart on his sleeve as he confesses his love to her in front of everyone was the added love square that we didn’t know we needed. I’m living for these cameos!

4. Seo Jun getting butterflies… again

There are several moments throughout this past week’s episodes where Seo Jun has to take a step back because of the feelings he’s having for Ju Gyeong. When Ju Gyeong agrees to follow Seo Jun to the department store to help find his little sister a birthday present, he can’t contain his emotions.

This part is actually worth re-watching. Seeing the emotions on Seo Jun’s face is everything. You can feel the heart eyes he has for this girl and it’s the most heart-stopping thing ever. Seo Jun is very much in love with Ju Gyeong and it’s only making the love story more heartbreaking!

5. Both boys on a date at the baseball game

Seo Jun and Su Ho are under the impression that Ju Gyeong will show up at Ryu Hyung Jin’s baseball game. In an attempt to spend time with her and make sure nothing happens with Hyung Jin, they both show up to his game. Little do they know that Ju Gyeong has already rejected the baseball star and Seo Jun and Su Ho end up spending the whole game together without her.

Seo Jun and Su Ho have some crazy good bromance chemistry. Although the two are supposed to hate each other, you can tell deep down that they care about each other. You can’t help but smile and giggle that the two are being forced to sit with each other. They are just so cute together!

6. Han Seo Jun serenading Ju Gyeong

It’s no secret that Han Seo Jun was once an idol trainee, so when there’s a talent show on the last night of the school trip, it’s obvious that Seo Jun performs. His friends throw him under the bus and announce that he will be singing a song. He is adamant about not wanting to sing until Ju Gyeong insists and even agrees to grant him a wish if he performs.

This moment was very swoon-worthy. Han Seo Jun with his deep melodic voice is enough to send us over the edge and make him quite the heartthrob. The only downfall? Not getting to see the song in its entirety.

7. “Don’t get sick.”

When Ju Gyeong falls ill on the field trip, she runs off by herself to rest. Noticing her absence, Seo Jun finds her on the bus and brings her medicine. He proceeds to sit beside her and even puts an adorable bracelet on her wrist.

This part was cuteness overload. This part of the episode really showed that Seo Jun is definitely not the bad boy we all thought he was. He has an open and soft heart that just wants love and acceptance from Ju Gyeong. Our hearts are only continuing to ache for this second lead! He needs to stop being so cute.

8. The confession and kiss in one moment

After a couple episodes of Ju Gyeong misunderstanding Su Ho’s intentions and believing that he’s in love with another girl, Su Ho finally clears everything up. He spends most of the field trip trying to get some alone time with Ju Gyeong so that he can confess to her, but it takes her running away from a group of students for them to be alone. Not wanting to waste a moment, Su Ho confesses to Ju Gyeong that she’s the girl he likes and kisses her.

It’s about time that Su Ho confesses his feelings for Ju Gyeong. All the misunderstanding and confusion for Ju Gyeong was making me all anxious. Him clearing the air and being direct with his feelings was so exciting! How are we ever supposed to wait every week?
