Girl Group Member Fulfills Her Dream And Shows Off Her Clear Voice On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the January 10 episode of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” a new crop of challengers emerged to fight for the right to take on the reigning champion.

The last match-up of Round 1 was between Jukebox and Treasure Box, who sang a duet of Kim Kwang Seok’s “With a Heart That Should Forget You.” Treasure Box showed his emotional and vocal depth, while Jukebox impressed with her clear vocal tone.

Jukebox also showed off her dance skills with panelist BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang in a cover of BTOB’s “Beep Beep.”

In the end, Treasure Box advanced to the next round. Jukebox took off her mask while singing BLACKPINK’s “Playing With Fire” and revealed herself as Rocket Punch’s Suyun.

She said, “It was my dream to appear on ‘The King of Mask Singer’ even before I debuted as a singer. After I knew I was making my debut, I wrote down a list of songs that I wanted to sing on the show and I’ve been practicing them ever since.”

She added, “It was my first time singing alone onstage, so I was really nervous.” She named Sandara Park as her role model and Sandara Park replied warmly, “I voted for you. I loved the vibe of your clear voice.”
