Lee Jung Jae To Make Special Appearance In Jung Woo Sung's Drama "Delayed Justice" As His "Chief Of Staff" Character
Lee Jung Jae will be making a special appearance in SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Delayed Justice”!
The drama is about two men representing victims who are falsely accused. Kwon Sang Woo plays Park Tae Yong, a public defender with only a high school diploma, and Jung Woo Sung plays the unsophisticated but talented journalist Park Sam Soo who has a knack for writing. Park Sam Soo was previously played by Bae Sung Woo.
According to a source from “Delayed Justice,” Lee Jung Jae will be filming for his special appearance on January 12. Lee Jung Jae will be starring as the national assemblyman Jang Tae Joon, which was his role in the JTBC drama “Chief of Staff.” Lee Jung Jae had worked with the director Kwak Jung Hwan of “Delayed Justice” in the past through “Chief of Staff” and “Chief of Staff 2.”
Previously, Lee Jung Jae was also in talks to replace Bae Sung Woo’s role of Park Sam Soo in “Delayed Justice” following Bae Sung Woo’s DUI (driving under the influence) incident. However, due to difficulties with scheduling, Jung Woo Sung was confirmed instead for the role. Although Lee Jung Jae was unable to join, he’ll be supporting the drama through his special appearance. All three actors are housed under Artist Company.
Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae are also known to be very close friends. The two starred in the 1999 film “City of the Rising Sun” together, and it was recently confirmed that Jung Woo Sung would be joining Lee Jung Jae in his upcoming film “Hunt” (literal title).
Jung Woo Sung will be starring as Park Sam Soo starting with episode 17, which will air on January 15 at 10 p.m. KST.
