The cast expressed their agreement with viewers at the shocking twists of the plot as Kim So Yeon shared, “We were also curious about the culprit so we would try to figure it out on our own.” Although she was the culprit, Eugene commented, “I filmed without knowing that I was the culprit. I really had no idea it was me.”
Due to his numerous kiss scenes, Uhm Ki Joon revealed that some people mistook him as the drama’s producer. He also explained that he paid special attention to his many kiss scenes with Kim So Yeon and Eugene as they are both happily married in well-known relationships.
Kim So Yeon explained, “Rather than my husband Lee Sang Woo, I was more embarrassed that my in-laws would watch it. That’s why I initially wanted to let them know beforehand which episodes had these affair scenes but they were in every episode. They said I was really cool and supported me.”
Eugene shared, “I do think [my husband Ki Tae Young] watched them by himself.” She made everyone laugh by adding, “Although he understands as a fellow actor, there was a news article called ‘Oh Yoon Hee’s naughty hands’ that stated I grabbed his butt while kissing and he asked if it was true.”
Kim So Yeon revealed, “The hitting scenes were the hardest.” Yoon Jong Hoon, who had many scenes being hit by Kim So Yeon, explained, “It was okay because she had good hand skills,” before adding that the scene on top of the table really hurt him. Kim So Yeon elaborated, “Originally, the script said ‘Throw the vase then hit him’ but the vase broke during rehearsals. On the spot, that scene was created through the director’s suggestion. As soon as I hit him he said, ‘I’m bleeding.'”
Viewers had picked Lee Ji Ah’s crying scene as one of the show’s best and the actress commented, “After filming, I had to lay down for two days. Since I was moving around while tied up, my muscles couldn’t move the next day. I wondered if there was a sport that could possibly cause this much pain.”
The actress also discussed her accidental spoiler to Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul. She explained, “That day when [my character] died, so many people texted me. I was on the real time search charts so I thought Kim Heechul would obviously already know and I texted him, ‘I died.’ I was so apologetic.”
Kim Heechul sent the cast a video message where he shared, “Because of my schedule, I had to binge watch the end but Lee Ji Ah stole that small happiness from me. I want to thank [writer] Kim Soon Ok for making such a fun drama as well as the actors. I will enjoyably watch next season too.”
Regarding the scene where they’re all locked in a bus, Bong Tae Gyu shared, “There was so much water to the point where we couldn’t say our lines. We were originally supposed to keep getting wet but the director changed it, saying it was too extreme.” He added that Lee Ji Ah had stayed behind after she was done filming to look after her fellow actors who were getting wet in the cold weather.
Shin Eun Kyung expanded on the difficulty of this scene sharing, “I did a lot of bad things in the drama. It was to the point where as soon as filming was over, I said I had been washed of all my sins.”
When the cast was asked to pick the actor who had the hardest time, Kim So Yeon received the most votes. Eugene explained, “If someone was exploding with energy on set, it was all Kim So Yeon.”
Later, the cast all watched the teaser for season two. Shin Eun Kyung commented, “It’s making me more curious” while Eugene added, “I have no idea what scenes these even are.”
Lastly, the cast further raised anticipation by emphasizing different key points. Eugene shared, “The completely transformed character relationships,” and Kim So Yeon added, “The unpredictable story.” Lee Ji Ah shared, “Beyond your greatest imagination” and Uhm Ki Joon commented, “You might get a little annoyed. Please look forward to it lots.”
