Lee Won Geun Offered Role In Drama Kim Ah Joong And Lee Sang Yoon Are In Talks For

Lee Won Geun has received a casting offer for a new drama!

On January 13, Ilgan Sports reported that the actor will join the cast of the upcoming SBS drama “One the Woman” (literal title).

In response to the report, his agency Yooborn Company clarified, “He received an offer for the drama, and he is positively reviewing it.”

“One the Woman” is about a corrupt female prosecutor trying to find her memories after getting amnesia and switching lives with a modest chaebol daughter-in law who looks exactly the same as her. Lee Sang Yoon and Kim Ah Joong are in talks to play the leads.

Lee Won Geun was offered the role of Ahn Yoo Joon, Jo Yeon Joo’s (the character Kim Ah Joong may play) colleague of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He is handsome, smart, and  humble, and he is loved by the professors of the institute. Both of his parents are professors, and they speak formally to each other as well as their own children.

Ahn Yoo Joon went to a private elementary school, international middle school, and foreign language high school. Due to his well-educated background and sweet personality, all the professors want him as their son-in-law. He was always surrounded by elite people with wealthy backgrounds and good education, so he falls for the refreshing charms of the bold and strong Jo Yeon Joo.

Lee Won Geun officially discharged from the military on January 7, 2021. If he decides to accept this role, it will be his first drama after serving in the military.

The upcoming drama will be written by scriptwriter Kim Yoon and helmed by director Choi Young Hoon, who worked on “A Word From Warm Heart,” “High Society,” and “Good Casting.”

“One the Woman” is slated to air in 2021.
