Watch: Lee Seo Jin And Lee Joo Young Chase After The Truth In Teasers For New Time-Warp Drama
OCN’s upcoming drama “Times” released exciting new character teasers of Lee Joo Young and Lee Seo Jin!
“Times” is a “time-warp” political mystery drama starring Lee Joo Young as Seo Jung In, the daughter of South Korean president Seo Gi Tae (played by Kim Young Chul). After miraculously communicating with journalist Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) from five years in the past by phone call, Seo Jung In attempts to prevent the death of her father – but stumbles upon a dangerous truth in the process.
In Lee Joo Young’s character teaser, Seo Jung In’s voice over shares, “I’m not the president’s daughter Seo Jung In.” Instead, she introduces herself as reporter Seo Jung In. Nonetheless, the teaser portrays her close relationship with her father Seo Gi Tae as the two celebrate Seo Jung In’s birthday together.
The next clip, however, shows a memorial for Seo Gi Tae. Seo Jung In shares, “After waking up from sleeping, everything had changed overnight as if someone had fabricated everything.” The text, “The truth that transcended time,” appears on screen. In the background, a different reporter’s voice announces, “Seo Jung In, the daughter of the deceased Seo Gi Tae, has begun to raise questions about the death of her father.”
Suddenly, an unexpected call arrives from Lee Jin Woo, who is living in 2015. Seo Jung In explains, “It’s 2020 here. Lee Jin Woo, you’re in 2015. Tomorrow, my father dies. Please save my father.”
Lee Seo Jin’s character teaser connects from where Lee Joo Young’s left off. In 2015, Lee Jin Woo receives a call from the Seo Jung In living in 2020. Lee Jin Woo replies, “You want me to believe that I’m being connected with the future?” He continues to express his disbelief but eventually asks, “So, am I living well?” Seo Jung In replies, “No, you died.”
Seo Jung In continues to plead, “Please help me, Lee Jin Woo,” and Lee Jin Woo finally replies, “Let’s do it. If I stay still, that incident will just be covered up. If there’s something wrong, we have to grab onto it until the end and set things right whether 10 years, 20 years, or 100 years pass by.”
“Times” will premiere on February 20 at 10:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, watch a teaser for the drama here!
