Lee Si Young Joins Park Shi Hoo In Talks For Korean Adaptation Of "The Mentalist"
Lee Si Young might be starring in a new drama!
On January 20, Star News reported that the actress is in talks for the lead female role in a Korean remake of the hit American series “The Mentalist.”
Lee Si Young’s agency Ace Factory stated, “Lee Si Young has received an offer to star in a remake of ‘The Mentalist’ and is currently reviewing it.” Previously, it was revealed that Park Shi Hoo is also in talks to star in the drama as the male lead.
“The Mentalist” is an American crime drama series that ran seven seasons on CBS from 2008 to 2015. The series follows the story of a psychic-turned-detective with uncanny powers of observation who teams up with his boss, a senior agent, to track down the madman who killed his family.
The drama will be directed by Pyo Min Soo, who directed “The Producers.” The broadcaster and premiere date have not yet been decided.
