ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo And Hwang In Yeop Have Heart-To-Heart Talk In 'True Beauty'

tvN’s “True Beauty” released new stills of ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeop!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy starring Moon Ga Young as Lim Ju Gyeong, a girl who tries to combat her insecurities about her looks through her makeup skills that turn her into a “goddess” at school. Cha Eun Woo stars as Lee Su Ho, a popular student who secretly harbors his own emotional wounds, while Hwang In Yeop plays Han Seo Jun, an untamable rebel with a surprisingly warm heart.

Spoilers

Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun slowly started to mend their broken friendship after resolving the misunderstandings about the death of their best friend Jung Se Yeon (SF9‘s Chani). In particular, Han Seo Jun grew saddened when he learned that Lee Su Ho suffered from panic disorder due to the regret of not answering Jung Se Yeon’s last call.

The newest stills hint that Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun will be getting one step closer to each other in the next episode. The two of them visit Jung Se Yeon’s grave together. Han Seo Jun breaks into tears, and Lee Su Ho quietly stands by in silent grief. The two characters also sit together, and it seems like they’ll finally be able to have a heart-to-heart conversation about what happened. Han Seo Jun caresses their friendship bracelet in deep thought, and Lee Su Ho gazes ahead of him with a pensive expression.

The serious moment takes a comical turn when the two of them ride on the back of a cultivator. They’re covered in dirt and hay as if they’ve been rolling around in a rice paddy field. Han Seo Jun is all smiles, but Lee Su Ho looks as if he has given up on everything.

Episode 12 of “True Beauty” will air on January 21 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
