January Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from December 23, 2020 to January 23, 2021.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 15,664,084 for January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Golden Disc,” “Billboard,” and “TikTok,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “award,” and “dominate.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 85.02 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK also maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 11,865,603, marking a 41.23 percent increase in their score since last month.
Finally, TWICE rose to third place after enjoying a 62.94 percent rise in their brand reputation index since December. The group’s total index came out to 9,248,874 for January.
