"Love (Ft. Marriage And Divorce)" Premieres To Strong Ratings Amid Stiff Competition From "Mr. Queen"
TV Chosun’s new drama “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” is off to a promising start!
“Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce),” which stars Sung Hoon, Lee Tae Gon, Park Joo Mi, and more, follows the troubles of three married couples who are at different stages in their lives. On January 23, the new drama premiered to an average nationwide rating of 6.9 percent and a peak of 7.7 percent.
Meanwhile, tvN’s hit drama “Mr. Queen”—which airs in the same time slot—continued its winning streak at No. 1. The latest episode of the drama took first place in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks, with an average nationwide rating of 12.8 percent and a peak of 15.0 percent.
“Mr. Queen” also continued to dominate its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average nationwide rating of 7.9 percent and a peak of 90 percent.
OCN’s “The Uncanny Counter” scored an average nationwide rating of 9.0 percent for the night, while JTBC’s “Hush” trailed with an average rating of 2.1 percent.
In the public broadcast realm, SBS’s “Delayed Justice” enjoyed an increase in viewership for its final episode, scoring an average nationwide rating of 6.2 percent for its series finale.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Homemade Love Story” remained the most-watched drama of Saturday night with average nationwide ratings of 24.7 percent and 30.7 percent for its two parts.
