Shinhwa's Jun Jin, EXID's Hani, Apink's Jung Eun Ji, And More Join Kim Soo Mi's New Variety Show

SKY and KBS2 have teamed up to create a healing new variety show!

The variety program “Soo Mi’s Mountain Cabin” (literal title) has now been confirmed to be in the works. Kim Soo Mi leads the show, which features guests with special stories coming to visit a tranquil cabin deep in the mountains.

The cast who’ll be putting their heart and soul into entertaining these guests includes Kim Soo Mi as “the nation’s cooking grandma” and the cabin’s straightforward owner who welcomes guests with her warmth and homemade food. Park Myung Soo is the butler and the highest in the hierarchy among the rest of the cast, who are the cabin’s caretakers. On top of taking care of various business at the cabin, he’s also a warm-hearted “Yes Man” toward the guests.

Shinhwa’s Jun Jin plays the role of a servant, who takes on tasks such as stoking the fires and carrying luggage, and he’s always helping out the guests. Apink’s Jung Eun Ji and EXID’s Hani are described as “empathetic fairies” who have chemistry with everyone, and they’ll be laughing and crying together with the guests.

It’s said that the guests will be able to escape from the spotlight and the attention of others and spend a day resting in a place where no one knows them.

“Soo Mi’s Mountain Cabin” is joint-produced by SKY and KBS and will premiere on February 18 before airing every Thursday at 10:40 p.m. KST on SKY and KBS2.
