6 Cha Eun Woo Moments From Episode 13 & 14 Of "True Beauty" That Gave Us Heart Eyes
So far, Cha Eun Woo as Lee Su Ho has been nothing short of perfect in “True Beauty.” He’s handsome, smart, loyal, talented in music, and above all, he loves his girl for who she is inside. Here are six moments from the most recent episodes of “True Beauty” that made us have total heart eyes for Cha Eun Woo!
Warning: Spoilers for episodes 13 and 14 ahead!
1. Su Ho declaring that he’s dating Ju Gyeong
Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) is still not at school after her scandal breaks out, which causes Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) to brood even more than he usually does. He is frustrated and upset because of what Ju Gyeong is going through, so when he overhears two girls gossip about how Su Ho could possibly be dating Ju Gyeong, he firmly yells out that he is indeed dating her.
Su Ho has no shame when it comes to Ju Gyeong. All he thinks about is how much he loves her and the fact that he’s willing to shout it out for the world to hear is the sweetest thing.
2. Being a shoulder for Ju Gyeong to lean on
After Su Ho visits the comic book store (again) in hopes of bumping into Ju Gyeong, he sees her sitting on the couch. His first impulse is to smile and immediately try to make her feel better, rather than getting upset at her for not picking up his calls. He sings cutesy songs that Ju Gyeong had once did for him when he was feeling down.
Doing the cute actions and singing the songs goes against everything Su Ho is. He’s not the type to do these kinds of cheesy things, but he loves Ju Gyeong that much. The contrasting nature in his character makes him that much more attractive!
3. Making the cheer up video
Who would have thought that the cold Su Ho was capable of some serious aegyo? When Ju Gyeong is feeling down and staying home, Su Ho tries to think of ways to make her feel better. He asks his friend, who suggests for him to sing a song for her incorporating all these cute actions.
Su Ho sending the video to Ju Gyeong to cheer her up was so cringe-y but really adorable. Su Ho being willing to step out of his comfort zone this much in hopes of making her smile is so sweet and selfless. Now where can we get the full footage of this video?
4. Seeing how much he truly loves Ju Gyeong
When Ju Gyeong falls asleep before checking in with Su Ho, he can’t help but wonder why she’s not contacting him. He stays up all night waiting for her call because he’s so worried.
Su Ho just wants to hear from Ju Gyeong and always wants to be around her, so when she falls asleep and forgets to call him, he’s in complete shambles. When he does end up talking to Ju Gyeong, he has to suppress his desire to want to see her and talk with her. This only shows how much he likes Ju Gyeong, and it’s so romantic!
5. The “I love you”
After the overwhelming amount of stress Su Ho has to endure not being a priority in Ju Gyeong’s social life, he wants to confront her but realizes that he is in love with her. He tells her from his heart that he loves her, which catches Ju Gyeong completely off guard.
The cute expression in which Cha Eun Woo says these words was so perfect. The coy and sweet little smile after he says these words made all the butterflies in our stomachs flutter. Cha Eun Woo looks so good in love, and I’m a tad bit obsessed with him.
6. The cool way he sends Ju Gyeong to his best friend
Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeop) asks Su Ho for permission to confess his feelings to Ju Gyeong so that he can move on from her. He knows that she will reject him, but needs this closure to continue living. Su Ho, being the most understanding boyfriend and best friend to Seo Jun, allows for this situation to happen.
How can this situation be at all understandable for a boyfriend who is head over heels in love with his girlfriend? Regardless, Su Ho is very open hearted to knowing that his best friend needs this closure, and above all, he trusts both of them. How much more perfect can Su Ho get? He’s the boyfriend and best friend that everyone needs!
BONUS
This isn’t a Cha Eun Woo moment, but we just had to mention that epic last scene in which Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeop) so lovingly gazes at Ju Gyeong. It has to be mentioned because it’s that good.
