Oh My Girl’s YooA Unable To Attend 30th Seoul Music Awards + THE BOYZ’s Jacob And Eric To Partially Perform Due To Health Concerns

WM Entertainment and Cre.Ker Entertainment have each shared announcements regarding Oh My Girl member YooA’s and THE BOYZ members Jacob and Eric’s participation in the 30th Seoul Music Awards.

Below is WM Entertainment’s statement:

Hello. This is WM Entertainment. Oh My Girl member YooA, who was scheduled to attend the 30th Seoul Music Awards today, will not be attending as she suddenly felt unwell. She is currently resting, and Oh My Girl will be appearing at the 30th Seoul Music Awards today as six members without YooA. We ask for your understanding.

THE BOYZ’s rep posted the following notice:

Hello. This is THE BOYZ’s staff.

THE BOYZ members Jacob and Eric have suffered mild muscle injuries while practicing. They have no issues going about their daily lives, but medical experts have advised that they avoid doing strenuous movements for the meantime. They had thus been focusing on their treatment and recovery during the preparation period for their Seoul Music Awards performance.

Unfortunately, [the two members] will not be participating in the intro stage for today’s Seoul Music Awards. They will both take part in the main performance, but Eric will be seated during the performance.

We extend our apologies for causing concern and worry with the sudden news, and we will work hard so that [the members] can greet fans in good health soon.

The 30th Seoul Music Awards is taking place at the KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on January 31. The event started at 6:50 p.m. KST.
