Jeongyeon Joins TWICE At The 30th Seoul Music Awards After Health-Related Hiatus
TWICE’s Jeongyeon returned to group promotions at the 30th Seoul Music Awards!
The 30th Seoul Music Awards were held on January 31 at the KSPO Dome with MCs Shin Dong Yup, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and Super Junior’s Kim Heechul.
At the event, TWICE performed and won the Bonsang (Main Award). Jeongyeon joined the group on stage for the first time since she took a hiatus to recover from anxiety in October 2020.
After their official greeting, Dahyun said, “We are very grateful to have received such a great award to start off 2021. This is the first time in a while that we’ve stood with all nine members on stage. We sincerely thank our fans, ONCE, who are always cheering us on. It’s been a bit of a frustrating year, but I hope that this year will be a good and happy year in which everyone can achieve all the things they wish. Please also look forward to TWICE’s work this year.”
Tzuyu said, “Thank you very much for giving us the Bonsang at the Seoul Music Awards for five years in a row. I think that we were able to receive this award because of ONCE. This award will be a source of strength for us as we go forward, so thank you very much. Stay healthy and happy, everyone!”
After the event, TWICE shared a photo of the nine members and captioned it “9WICE,” celebrating their return as a full group.
