Watch: Cho Seung Woo And Park Shin Hye Find Themselves In A World Of Mayhem In "Sisyphus: The Myth"
JTBC’s upcoming fantasy-mystery drama unveiled a new teaser!
JTBC’s 10th anniversary special drama “Sisyphus: The Myth” is about Han Tae Sool (Cho Seung Woo), a genius engineer who strives to bring to light the existence of hidden beings secretly residing in our world. Park Shin Hye will star as Kang Seo Hae, who has made it through a dangerous journey to come to serve as Han Tae Sool’s savior.
The teaser opens with Mr. Park’s (Sung Dong Il’s) line that goes, “Welcome to the future.” It quickly becomes apparent that the market he operates is far from being an ordinary market when he faces an unknown figure with two men armed with guns by his side.
Han Tae Sool explains in a voice-over that he has created a time machine in the future and that people are crossing over from the future to the present. Out of these “hidden beings” secretly residing in the present is one particular individual coming after Han Tae Sool’s life.
But in the midst of danger, he has one string of hope, and that is Kang Seo Hae, who has also traveled through time using his time machine. Fearing being left alone in the world more than facing death, she vows to fight to keep Han Tae Sool alive. And with only a couple weeks left until the supposed fall of Korea, the two are running out of time.
One of the most riveting elements of “Sisyphus: The Myth” is its futuristic aesthetic. Paired with the unique way in which the drama will take on the concept of traveling across dimensions, anticipation for the series is rising.
