Singer Tim Announces Marriage In Heartfelt Letter

Singer Tim has tied the knot!

On February 5, Tim took to Instagram to share the happy news that he would be getting married in a private wedding later that day.

The ballad singer posted in both Korean and English, and his full English letter is as follows:

Hello Everyone,
It certainly has been a long time hasn’t it? I hope that this letter finds you healthy and safe despite the world coping with the coronavirus pandemic.

The reason for this post is not only to say hello, but to share with you some exciting news. Tonight I will be getting married to my forever partner, friend and love who has helped me grow to have a different depth of understanding and meaning of love! I’ve come to realize that love is not only shared when circumstances are easy, but that true love is most felt when enduring through some of life’s greatest struggles!

Our original plan was to be married back in June of 2020, but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus our plans came to a sudden halt leaving us no choice but to cancel all of our plans. Though it was difficult, it has a become [sic] a great opportunity for me to do inventory on my priorities and what it means to be married. In hindsight I firmly believe that this was a part of God’s plan to provide me time to consider deeply the importance and magnitude of this commitment.

I would have loved to celebrate our marriage in the presence of our closest friends and family. But without knowing what the future holds we felt it was finally the time for us to be married in the presence of God.

That is why we will be having a very intimate marriage worship ceremony this evening at 11 pm with our immediate family there to witness our union. Family members who are unable to attend in person, will stream this worship via Zoom.

It is our hope that once this pandemic subsides, we can celebrate with our friends and family and share in the goodness of God’s grace in our lives through a proper wedding celebration. But, we are preparing to take our vows and be married to one another tonight.

I believe that I could not have gotten to this moment without your heartfelt love and support. I love you and thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Tim also shared a photo—presumably of himself and his bride—to celebrate the occasion.
