Upcoming Kakao M drama “How To Be Thirty” released a new teaser!
“How To Be Thirty” is a relatable romance that deals with the work and love lives of three 30-year-old women. The drama follows the story that unfolds when webtoon author Seo Ji Won (Jung In Sun) meets her publisher Lee Seung Yoo (Kang Min Hyuk), who is also her first love from middle school.
The new teaser begins with Seo Ji Won’s narration. She shares, “I make up my mind again and again to not get lost at the doorsteps to my unfamiliar 30s.” Seo Ji Won and her two close friends Lee Ran Joo (EXID’s Hani) and Hong Ah Young (Cha Min Ji) gather together to drink wine. Seo Ji Won proclaims, “I’m fed up with men now,” and Lee Ran Joo reveals, “I’m never getting married,” raising questions about the three friends’ love lives as they enter their 30s.
Seo Ji Won continues to narrate, “Awkward and unfamiliar, we’re thirty.” Clips of Seo Ji Won getting a cramp in her neck while working and Lee Ran Joo hitting a man with her bag flash by as the text “realistic 30s” appear on the screen. Hong Ah Young shares, “Season two of life! We’re taking off splendidly!” The teaser also showcases a brief glimpse of film director Cha Do Hoon (Song Jae Rim), who will add tension to Seo Ji Won and Lee Seung Yoo’s relationship.
Finally, Lee Seung Yoo appears and introduces himself with a meaningful smile, causing Seo Ji Won to be shocked while simultaneously feeling her heart flutter. Lee Seung Yoo and Seo Ji Won are each other’s first love, and the two unexpectedly reunite for the first time in 15 years as a webtoon author and publisher, making viewers anticipate their upcoming romance.

“How To Be Thirty” will have a total of 15 episodes that are 20 minutes each. The drama will premiere on February 23 at 5 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
