TV Schedule Changes This Week Due To Lunar New Year Holidays
South Korea is celebrating the Lunar New Year on February 12, and broadcasting stations have made changes to their programming to fit the holidays.
Below are some of the regularly programmed shows that will not be airing this week.
Thursday, February 11
MBC’s “A Good Supper” did not air this day, and the first episode of “2021 Idol Star Athletics Championships – New Year Special” aired at 9:30 p.m.
Friday, February 12
MBC’s “A Good Supper” will not be airing this day. The second episode of “2021 Idol Star Athletics Championships – New Year Special” will be broadcast at 5:30 p.m. KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” will be replaced by the Lunar New Year special “Ryu Soo Young‘s Animal TV” (literal title). tvN’s “Youn’s Stay” and “Don’t Look Back” (literal title) will not be airing this day and will be replaced by the movie “Ashfall.”
Saturday, February 13
MBC will air the first two episodes of the special variety show “Photo Organization Service Phone Cleansing” (literal title) instead of “Music Core.” The film “Bohemian Rhapsody” will be shown on SBS during the usual time slot of “Law of the Jungle.” JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” will also be skipping this week.
Sunday, February 14
On SBS, a rerun of “The Penthouse 2 Hidden Room” will air instead of “Inkigayo.”
