Kyung Soo Jin Transforms Into Producing Director With Mysterious Past In Upcoming Drama "Mouse"
tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Mouse” shared a sneak peek at Kyung Soo Jin’s upcoming transformation!
“Mouse” is about an upright but naive young police officer named Jung Ba Reum (Lee Seung Gi) and a lawless detective named Go Moo Chi (Lee Hee Joon) who cares for nothing but revenge after a serial killer murdered his parents when he was a child. The two of them team up to chase down an evil predator who is described as being in the “top 1 percent” of psychopaths.
In the drama, Kyung Soo Jin plays plays producing director Choi Hong Joo who has numerous awards under her belt despite her young age. As a child, Choi Hong Joo was used as a pawn to catch a murderer, and she harbors a painful secret behind her normal façade.
On February 13, the drama shared a first glimpse of Kyung Soo Jin as Choi Hong Joo. Choi Hong Joo is interviewing someone, and she gazes at the person in front of her with meaningful, thoughtful eyes. She is completely focused on what he has to say, and she grips onto her pen as if she’s prepared to write down anything important. In the middle of the interview, she quietly lowers her gaze and becomes lost in thought for a long time. Fans are curious to see how Kyung Soo Jin will bring her new role to life.
Kyung Soo Jin impressed the production team by carefully paying attention to not only the appearance factors of her character, such as makeup and costumes, but also the way she speaks and acts in order to replicate the exact image of her job as a producing director.
The actress commented, “The first shooting is not only my first meeting with new people, but also my first time showing my character, so I was very nervous. Fortunately, the director and staff members treated me comfortably, so I was able to finish the first filming well. I’m looking forward to the rest of the filming because I am able to work in a good drama with a great staff and good actors like Lee Seung Gi, Lee Hee Joon, and Park Ju Hyun.”
The production team shared, “Kyung Soo Jin always gives energy on the set with a smile on her face, but once shooting starts, her facial expressions and the look in her eyes change, and she awes everyone with her professionalism. Please support Kyung Soo Jin who will bring more tension to the drama as someone who will do anything to find out the truth.”
“Mouse” premieres on March 3 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out a trailer here!
