Ailee's Mother Passes Away

Ailee’s mother has passed away.

On February 13, Ailee shared the news of her mother’s passing on her Instagram account. Along with a picture she took with her mother, she wrote, “Mom… I miss you… I can’t see you anymore… but I believe that you will always support me and protect me by God’s side… My mom, the most beautiful woman in the world… Rest in peace… Your proud daughter will take care of the rest of our family with love. I love you, mom. Rest in peace, mom… I love you…”

Fellow celebrities expressed their condolences.

QUEEN WA$ABII said, “Cheer up, unnie. I’m sorry for your loss,” and singer Ali said, “My loving Ye Jin [Ailee’s Korean name], I will pray that she will rest in peace in heaven.” Koyote’s Shinji, Kevin Woo, and Park Eun Suk expressed their condolences as well.
