"Mr. Queen" Finale Achieves 5th Highest Ratings In tvN History
tvN’s hit drama “Mr. Queen” has ended on a high note!
On February 14, the series finale of the popular drama starring Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun achieved the highest viewership ratings of its entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Mr. Queen” scored an average nationwide rating of 17.4 percent and a peak of 19.3 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all channels (including public broadcast networks).
Not only did the ratings mark a new personal record for the series, but it also made “Mr. Queen” the drama with the fifth-highest ratings in tvN history, bested only by “Crash Landing on You,” “Goblin,” “Reply 1988,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
Meanwhile, “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” broke its own record for the highest drama ratings ever achieved in TV Chosun history. The latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 9.7 percent, marking a new record for both the show and the network.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Homemade Love Story” enjoyed a rise in viewership from its previous episode the night before, scoring average nationwide ratings of 31.0 percent and 32.8 percent for its two parts.
