Park Bo Young Makes Thoughtful Donation To Children From Low-Income Families
Park Bo Young has made a warm donation!
According to her agency BH Entertainment on February 16, the actress donated 30 million won (approximately $27,216) to the NGO (non-governmental organization) Good Neighbors on February 12 for her birthday. The donation will be used to fund kits with sanitary products for young girls from low-income households.
Park Bo Young has continued to participate in regular sponsorship for girls from low-income families through Good Neighbors since last year. She previously donated 50 million won (approximately $45,357) to the Community Chest of Korea to support COVID-19 prevention and 20 million won (approximately $18,138) to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to aid flood relief efforts.
Park Bo Young said, “I hope this will be a practical help for girls who are entering their growth phase. Everyone is going through a difficult time during COVID-19, but I hope many people will join in and do good work for children who need such warmth.”
Hwang Sung Joo, the director of marketing at Good Neighbors, shared, “We thank Park Bo Young for continuously donating to young girls from low-income families. Good Neighbors will provide professional services, such as counseling and mentoring, so that the girls can mature in good health.”
Park Bo Young is confirmed to star in “Doom at Your Service,” which is a fantasy romance about a man known as “doom” who causes everything he touches to vanish and a woman who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate. The actress will play Tak Dong Kyung, an editor at a web novel publisher who is living an ordinary life but stumbles into a strange fate and puts her life and love on the line.
