Shin Ha Kyun And Yeo Jin Goo Begin Their Dangerous Collaboration In "Beyond Evil"

“Beyond Evil” is a psychological thriller about two men who are willing to break rules and the law in their pursuit of a serial killer. As they track down the murderer, they repeatedly ask themselves, “Who is the monster? Is it you? Is it me? Is it us?”

The JTBC drama released new stills of the two actors ahead of the second episode. In the first episode, Lee Dong Shik (Shin Ha Kyun) and Han Joo Won (Yeo Jin Goo) began their investigation while concealing their true motives. Their investigation ran into the hidden pasts of the residents of Manyang and resulted in the discovery of a skeleton that is connected to an incident that took place 20 years before.

In the new stills, the two men’s collaboration as investigators begins in earnest, but the two are far from being on the same page. Lee Dong Shik heads out to a nightclub to search for someone, while caught up in an emotional maelstrom over how much the skeleton reminds him of his missing sister Lee Yoo Yeon (Moon Joo Yeon). Han Joo Won, who suspects Lee Dong Shik of something, attempts to track down the case in old archives.

When the two meet up in the village again, there is a palpable tension in the air. Lee Dong Shik’s gaze holds both shock and anger, while Han Joo Won looks frozen in place. The production staff stated, “The appearance of a skeleton that resembles the serial killer case 20 years ago has shaken up both Lee Dong Shik and Han Joo Won. These two will soon be swept up in other incidents as well. The psychological chase between these two men who are hiding their true selves is starting, so please look forward to uncovering their hidden stories.”

This episode of “Beyond Evil” airs on February 20 at 11 p.m. KST.
