Main Vocalist Of Rising Boy Group Shows Off His Beautiful Voice On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the February 21 episode of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” a new crop of contestants emerged to take on the challenge for the throne.

The final match-up of Round 1 was between Snowman and Snow Duck, who covered Lee Ji Hoon’s “Doll” with their emotional vocals. Despite their different vocal colors, they were able to create beautiful harmonies together, making it difficult for the panelists to choose a winner.

In the end, however, Snow Duck advanced to the next round with 15 votes to Snowman’s 6. Snowman performed Ali’s “Eraser” before unmasking to reveal himself as THE BOYZ’s New!

New is one of the main vocalists of THE BOYZ. Sandara Park said, “I feel like my heart has been attacked. He has a voice that makes your legs go weak. I hope that he can promote much more in future so that people will know about his voice.”

New said, “As a singer, you want to go on ‘The King of Mask Singer’ at least once. There weren’t a lot of chances for me to show my voice, so I liked that part the best. I hope that THE BOYZ will grow even more in 2021 so that we can repay the love we have received.”
