After sharing George Clooney’s dramatic reading of BTS’s “Dynamite,” W Magazine has followed up with a new star-studded video featuring more celebrities reading the lyrics, singing, and even dancing!

The stars in the lineup are the talent celebrated in W Magazine’s 2021 Best Performances issue. They include Tom Holland, Rachel Brosnahan, Steven Yeun, Riz Ahmed, Talia Ryder, Leslie Odom Jr., Sophia Lillis, James Corden, Jared Leto, Andra Day, Jonathan Majors, Maria Bakalova, LaKeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Jacob Elordi, Alan Kim, and more.

W Magazine shared, “We at W were inspired by the impact BTS—and its fandom, known as the ARMY—made, not just in the realm of music, but for the culture at large, and chose their song “Dynamite” for our annual round of Lyrical Improv.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, W magazine opted to hold a virtual celebration of its Best Performances issue this year instead of its usual star-studded party in Los Angeles.

As part of its online celebration, actor George Clooney performed a dramatic reading of BTS’s “Dynamite” with a perfectly straight face. After hilariously introducing himself as his friend Brad Pitt, the Hollywood star launched into reading the English lyrics to the song with gusto.
