Brave Girls' Agency Explains Why They Suddenly Changed Album Cover For Their Resurging 2017 Hit "Rollin'"
As their 2017 song “Rollin'” continues to climb back up the charts, Brave Girls has now changed the online album cover for the track.
Recently, Brave Girls’ 2017 title track “Rollin'” has seen a dramatic resurgence in popularity after an edited compilation video of the group’s performances of the song went viral on YouTube. As the song gained more and more attention, it quickly began rising on the Korean music charts—and on February 27, four years after its release, it gave Brave Girls their first No. 1 on a music chart as it soared to the top of Bugs. It has since gone on to hit No. 1 on Genie’s realtime chart as well.
On March 2, amidst the song’s growing popularity, Brave Girls’ online album cover for “Rollin'” was suddenly replaced with a new image. After initially making the switch on Bugs, Brave Girls also changed the cover on other music sites like Melon, Genie, and FLO shortly afterwards.
In a statement made that same day, the group’s agency explained that they had made the change due to an overwhelming influx of requests.
A representative of Brave Entertainment stated, “We changed the album cover for ‘Rollin” on Bugs. There were many requests to change the album cover, so we decided to take the feedback into account.”
They added, “One by one, following Bugs, we will be changing the cover on other music sites as well.”
As for whether Brave Girls would be returning to music shows to perform “Rollin’,” Brave Entertainment cautiously replied, “Nothing has yet been decided.”
