BTS Climbs Back Up Billboard 200 Following Release Of 'BE (Essential Edition)' + Reclaims No. 1 On Artist 100

BTS made a strong showing on the Billboard charts following the release of their new edition of “BE“!

Over three months after its initial release in November, when it debuted at No. 1, BTS’s latest album “BE” reentered the top 10 of Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart, its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States. For the week of March 6, “BE” shot all the way back up the chart to No. 7 from its previous ranking of No. 74 last week.

The album’s sales were boosted by the release of BTS’s new version of the album entitled “BE (Essential Edition),” which dropped on February 19. According to Nielsen Music, the album earned 36,000 equivalent album units, with 28,000 of those units consisting of traditional album sales.

BTS also soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s Artist 100, and their smash hit “Dynamite” reclaimed No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, where “Inner Child” and “Life Goes On” maintained their respective positions at No. 11 and No. 28.

Additionally, “Dynamite” stayed strong at No. 50 on the Hot 100, Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States across all genres. Now in its 27th week on the chart, the long-running hit continues to extend its own record for the most weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 of any song by an all-Korean group.

“Dynamite” also rose to No. 8 on the Global 200, with “Life Goes On” charting at No. 63; and it remained No. 4 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, where “Life Goes On” rose to No. 39.

Congratulations to BTS!
