7 Reasons Why You Should Stan ONEUS
Meet ONEUS, RBW’s boy group comprised of six members: Ravn, Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion. The members debuted in January 2019 with their title track “Valkyrie” and instantly caught attention for their impressive vocal abilities, their good looks, and their fascinating concept.
ONEUS has garnered quite the attention over the past two years in the music industry, both domestically and internationally. If this is your first time coming across the group, here are seven reasons why you should add ONEUS to your stan list right now.
1. Their message
When speaking of their mission as a group, the ONEUS members want to mark their presence in the K-pop scene as a “team that’s always happy” and a “team that makes people feel good just from looking at them.” They aspire to touch listeners’ hearts and inspire them through their music as they aim to spread positivity and energy on their road to success. Their debut song is a vivid example of the message they want to convey to their fans.
2. Their concept
From the beginning, ONEUS’ style has been edgy and elegant, channeling eerie vampiric vibes through their fashion, makeup, and cinematography. Their style is further emphasized through their EP “LIVED” and their first full album “DEVIL.” From first glance, you’ll notice that both titles are anadromes of one another. This witty detail hints at the continuity of the group’s storyline between both releases.
3. Their choreography
Who doesn’t love a powerful choreography? ONEUS sure has plenty up their sleeves. Their dance moves are as sleek as they are detailed, which makes their performances all the more entertaining. The group has worked with famous choreographer Keone Madrid on their title track dance for “Twilight.” The members later revealed that the ending of their “TO BE OR NOT TO BE” performance is continued by the beginning of their “No diggity” performance. Needless to say, every choreography they bring to life is simply captivating.
4. Their versatility
ONEUS showed us that they can step out of their comfort zone and experiment with other styles. “BBUSYEO” is a vivid – and quite bubbly – example. But that’s not all! The group also displayed their amazing skills when it comes to covering other songs and dances. The cover styles vary and include TWICE’s “Feel Special,” BTS’s “Fake Love,” SEVENTEEN’s “Fear,” and Billie Eilish’s “Bury A Friend.”
5. Their achievements
ONEUS’s career has been defined from the start, as the group was able to make a name for themselves since their debut. In fact, their debut EP “Light Us” topped the iTunes Top K-Pop Albums Charts and ranked within the Top 10 in Canada, Germany, England, Spain, and Italy. Their title track “Valkyrie” also amassed 17 million views on YouTube. Shortly afterwards, their second EP “Raise Us” followed suit with yet another No. 1 on the iTunes Top K-Pop Albums Charts in Finland and charted at No. 5 in four other countries. As for their title track “Twilight,” it reached 10 million views only four days after its release. ONEUS also ranked on the Billboard Social 50 Chart for 7 weeks.
As for award shows, ONEUS was nominated a fair share of times and won some awards. The most memorable ones are the 2019 and 2020 Soribada Awards where they won Next Artist Award and The New Icon Award, respectively, as well as their Focus Singer Award at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards.

Their efforts did not go in vain as they finished fourth on the show.
