Lee Sung Kyung Sends Thoughtful Gift To Ahn Hyo Seop On The Set Of His Upcoming Historical Drama
Lee Sung Kyung is supporting Ahn Hyo Seop on his upcoming drama “Hong Chun Gi”!
On March 15, Ghrelin Truck revealed on their Instagram that Lee Sung Kyung had gifted Ahn Hyo Seop a delicious snack and coffee truck for the cast and staff of “Hong Chun Gi” to enjoy. The top banner on the coffee truck reads, “I’m looking forward to Hyo Seop’s sageuk [Korean historical drama] charm,” and the banner to the side reads, “Paul [Ahn Hyo Seop’s English name], are you taking over sageuk now too? I’m proud of you. Seop Seobi, fighting!” Previously, the two actors had starred together in the hit drama “Dr. Romantic 2.”

“Hong Chun Gi” is a historical fantasy romance drama set in the Joseon era. It is based on the novel of the same name by Jung Eun Gwol, whose novels “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “The Moon Embracing the Sun” have also famously been adapted into hit dramas. Ahn Hyo Seop stars as blind astrologer Ha Ram, who is able to read the stars despite losing his sight.
