Rosé’s first-week album sales are in!
According to Hanteo Chart on March 23, Rosé’s first solo single “R” achieved 448,089 sales in the first week of its release (this number includes only CDs and KiT versions, and not the limited-edition LPs). Rosé has therefore extended her record for highest first-week sales on Hanteo Chart for a female soloist!

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set another impressive record!
According to Hanteo Chart, Rosé’s first album “R” reached 282,674 sales in just one day since the release of her physical album “R” on March 16. This means that Rosé has broken IU’s record in which 147,856 copies of “Love Poem” were sold in its first week.
Rosé’s solo album “R” had more than 500,000 stock pre-orders. This number is a sum of orders from not only Korea, but also many other regions including United States, Japan, and China.
The album also made an impressive mark on Spotify. Her title track “On The Ground” debuted at No. 8 on Spotify’s daily Global Top 50 chart for March 12 (local time) with 3,262,615 streams in the first 24 hours since its release. “Gone,” the b-side track on the album, reached No. 11 with 2,945,783 streams. “On The Ground” now has the most streams achieved in 24 hours by a song officially released by a Korean solo artist on Spotify.
In addition, “On The Ground” reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 51 different regions, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
