B.A.P.'s Youngjae Confirmed For Drama That Krystal, Jinyoung, And Cha Tae Hyun Are In Talks For
B.A.P.’s Youngjae has officially joined the cast of KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Police Academy” (literal title)!
On March 18, the idol-turned-actor’s agency announced, “Yoo Youngjae was recently confirmed to be appearing in ‘Police Academy.’ He will be playing the role of Jo Joon Wook.”
“Police Academy” is a coming-of-age story about young people chasing their dreams and finding love at a police academy. Youngjae, who recently charmed viewers with his scene-stealing performance in the hit tvN drama “Mr. Queen,” will be taking on the character of Jo Joon Wook: a cute, cheerful, and witty freshman who has returned to Korea after studying abroad.
f(x)’s Krystal, B1A4’s Jinyoung, Cha Tae Hyun, and Lee Jong Hyuk are all currently in talks to appear in the drama as well.
“Police Academy” is expected to premiere sometime in the second half of 2021.
