IU To Be 1st Guest On JTBC Variety Show Starring "Sing Again" Top 3
IU has a guest appearance lined up on a new JTBC show!
The Top 3 finalists from JTBC’s “Sing Again” will soon star in the variety show “Famous Singer Competition” (literal title). “Sing Again” was a “rebooting” audition program that gave unknown or forgotten singers another chance to take the stage and show their skills before the public, and it wrapped up in February.
The “Sing Again” Top 3 finalists include winner Lee Seung Yoon, runner-up Jeong Hong Il, and third-place contestant Lee Moo Jin. They’ll be meeting with Korea’s legendary singers to talk about music on the new program.
On March 22, JTBC confirmed that IU will be the first famous singer guest to meet with the trio on the show! It’s said that on top of talking about music, IU will be collaborating with the Top 3 for a performance on the program. The trio of finalists will also reinterpret one of IU’s tracks to stage a performance.
“Famous Singer Competition” premieres on April 2, and the episode featuring IU will air on April 9.
