Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Lee Soo Geun To MC "Sing Again" Spin-Off Program

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Lee Soo Geun will be hosting JTBC’s upcoming variety show!

JTBC’s “Famous Singer Competition” (literal title) is a “Sing Again” spin-off program. It will feature the Top 3 contestants from “Sing Again,” a “rebooting” audition program that gave unknown or forgotten singers another chance to take the stage and show their skills before the public.

The “Sing Again” Top 3 finalists include winner Lee Seung Yoon, runner-up Jeong Hong Il, and third-place contestant Lee Moo Jin. On the new program, they’ll be meeting with Korea’s legendary singers to talk about music and perform covers and collaborations.

The two MCs for the program will be Lee Soo Geun and Kyuhyun, both of whom have connections with the Top 3 contestants. Lee Soo Geun previously met with the finalists through their appearance on “Ask Us Anything” and Kyuhyun was a junior panel judge on “Sing Again.”

Regarding the two MCs, the JTBC producers shared, “We look forward to even better meetings with the legendary singers thanks to the addition of MCs Lee Soo Geun and Kyuhyun. The collaboration between our Top 3 contestants, who are still unfamiliar with variety programs, and our veteran MCs, should present viewers a refreshing kind of chemistry.”

JTBC’s newest variety program premieres on April 2 at 9 p.m. KST, with IU as the show’s first guest on the next episode.
