Watch: "Kingdom" Competition Heats Up + Contestants Are Shocked By Results In Preview For 2nd Episode

Get ready for an epic round of performances on the next episode of Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War”!

Following its action-packed premiere on April 1, the idol competition show—which is the male version of the hit 2019 program “Queendom”—aired an exciting sneak peek of its upcoming second episode.

The preview begins with hosts TVXQ revealing that the theme of the first official round of competition will be “To the World,” with a total of 20,000 points on the line. The clip then teases viewers with brief snippets of the six competing groups’ epic performances, as well as the contestants’ reactions of awe and admiration as they watch one another perform.

“They interpreted this song in this way?” one idol says in amazement in voice-over, while another exclaims, “This is really creative.” BTOB’s Minhyuk praises a group’s performance as “truly fiery,” while ATEEZ’s Seonghwa remarks with a laugh, “This performance [is so good], we should be paying to watch it.” SF9’s Inseong adds, “It’s impossible to rank one of these performances over another.”

Finally, the clip ends with the contestants nervously awaiting the results of the first round—then being shocked once the announcements are made.
