Lee Dong Wook In Talks For New OCN Drama From Director Of "The Uncanny Counter"
Lee Dong Wook is in talks for a new OCN drama from the director and writer of “The Uncanny Counter”!
On March 31, DongA.com reported that Yoo Sun Dong, the director of “The Uncanny Counter,” was teaming up with Kim Sae Bom, the writer of episodes 14-16 of “The Uncanny Counter,” were teaming up for a new drama called “Bad and Crazy” (working title).
“Bad and Crazy” is a superhero drama about a protagonist who has lived their whole life as a materialistic police detective, but changes into a champion for justice and fights against police corruption when a hidden persona called “K” awakens inside them.
According to DongA.com’s report, the drama would air on OCN sometime after the broadcast of “Dark Hole,” “Voice 4,” and “Island.”
Later, a source from OCN confirmed that Yoo Sun Dong would be directing “Bad and Crazy,” but it remains to be confirmed if Kim Sae Bom is on the project as well.
On April 1, Lee Dong Wook’s agency was asked about reports that the actor was in talks for the drama. King Kong by Starship stated, “He is positively reviewing the casting offer from ‘Bad and Crazy.'”
Lee Dong Wook’s last drama was “Tale of the Nine-Tailed.”
