"The Penthouse 2" Ends With Perfect Streak Of No. 1 Ratings
SBS’s “The Penthouse 2” has wrapped up on a perfect streak of No. 1 ratings!
On April 2, the final episode of “The Penthouse 2” continued its uninterrupted reign over the battle for drama viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the finale of the hit drama’s second season scored average nationwide ratings of 21.5 percent, 25.2 percent, and 25.8 percent for its three parts, making it the most-watched program to air on any channel that day.
Over the course of its 13-episode run, “The Penthouse 2” successfully remained not only the most-watched program of Friday and Saturday nights for all 13 episodes, but for every single week of its run, it was also the most-watched miniseries to air on any channel that entire week.
The producers of “The Penthouse” commented, “It seems like just yesterday that we began Season 1, but we’ve already arrived at the end of the second season. This journey was only possible because of the hard work and passion of the cast and crew, as well as the incredible support we received from viewers.”
They added, “Please look forward to find out what kind of story awaits in Season 3 of ‘The Penthouse.'”
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Beyond Evil” enjoyed a significant boost in viewership for its latest episode, which scored an average nationwide rating of 5.0 percent.
