Sparks Fly Between Lee Je Hoon And Esom In Upcoming Drama "Taxi Driver"

SBS’s upcoming drama “Taxi Driver” has shared a sneak peek of a tense face-off between leads Lee Je Hoon and Esom!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” tells the story of a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law. Lee Je Hoon will star as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for the service, while Esom will star as passionate prosecutor Kang Ha Na, who begins to grow suspicious of both Kim Do Gi and the unusual taxi service.

On April 5, the upcoming drama released stills of an icy confrontation between the two protagonists. The fierce Kang Ha Na, who doesn’t let anything get in the way of her pursuit of justice, appears to have sought out the Rainbow Taxi service on her own.

When she and Kim Do Gi cross paths at Rainbow Taxi, the two unstoppable forces seem to sense that they have met their match—and they both glare daggers at one another while warily keeping their distance.

The producers of “Taxi Driver” teased, “From the very first episode, Lee Je Hoon and Esom will create a tension that feels like walking on thin ice.”

“The drama’s fast-paced, suspenseful plot will give viewers both extreme thrills and the refreshing joy of vicarious [revenge],” they continued, “so we ask that you please look forward to it.”

“Taxi Driver” will premiere on April 9, taking over the time slot previously occupied by “The Penthouse 2.” Check out a teaser for the drama here!
