"Kingdom" Releases Stunning Behind-The-Scenes Photos From 1st Battle

Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” has shared a new glimpse behind the scenes of its preliminary round!

On the April 1 premiere of the new idol competition show, the six competing groups—THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, iKON, BTOB, and SF9—faced off in a 100-second performance battle through which they introduced themselves to viewers.

Each of the groups was required to use a song that had earned them a music show win for their performance, leading to a colorful “introduction” battle in which each of the six teams delivered a unique remix of one of their hits.

As “Kingdom” gears up for its highly-anticipated second episode on April 8, which will reveal the full results and the winner of the preliminary round, Mnet has now released behind-the-scenes photos of the six competing groups tearing up the stage during their first performances.
